Recently, we've been learning about social roles and hierarchy in Ancient Egypt. Part of learning in Social Studies is practicing our literacy skills. Our first week back, we learned a new strategy for how to take group notes using sticky notes. We watched a 3-minute video to introduce Ancient Egypt and then worked together to make meaning from the textbook. Each role got a stick note title and we added a new one every time someone found a new piece of information. Next, we had to take what we learned and create a skit to show how at least two of these social roles were related to each other. We had to show their responsibilities and their connection through use of our drama skills. Thank you to the groups below who shared the videos of their skits!
